Researchers from the University of South Australia have conducted a recent study which suggests that a diet consisting of colourful fruits and vegetables could substantially delay the onset of age-related cataracts.

It is estimated that over 50% of cases of blindness worldwide can be attributed to cataracts. For the first time, stem cell therapy has been successfully used to correct the condition.
